What You'll Do:

Maintain standard levels of vegetation in the surrounding area around utility poles by:
Applying herbicides to control weeds and grasses around utility poles *
Using equipment to maintain appropriate levels of weeds and brush *
Following contracts for work conditions and job specifications
Collect data to monitor and manage levels of invasive species of vegetation. *
Properly maintain, calibrate, and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.

What We're Seeking:

Love of the outdoors
Preferred: line clearance experience or other related work *
Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA Training *
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire *
Preferred: Valid driver's license with Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement *
Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ®, ISA Certified Tree Worker ®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional ®
Pre-employment Drug Screen and Social Security verification required.
